Last night the New York Yankees faced the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of their three game series. The Orioles beat the Yankees once again except this time it was a little closer with the score 7-5. Chin Ming Wang pitched terribly for the Yankees, he let up seven runs, walked three and had no strikeouts. Just about the only bright spot for the Yankees was when Derek Jeter hit a home run in the ninth inning. Other than that, they looked positively awful. The Bronx Bombers are now 0-2 and maybe they can salvage the series and get a win later today.
The pitching match up for today’s game is A.J. Burnett (Yankees) vs. Alfredo Simon (Orioles) The Yankees are going to need an excellent outing from Burnett today with multiple runs if they are going to win this game.
